Australian companies lose out

The mining tax changes under the Gillard Government highlights the damage that the Federal Government has done to both the Australian public and Australian companies in its secret dealings with multinationals. It has been widely reported that this resulted in $60 billion in future earnings lost to Australia over the next 10 years. However it seems that the public’s unawareness of this fact did contribute to Labour’s success at the last Federal election.
